Veneers

Improving your smile

Improving the Appearance of Teeth with Custom-Made Veneers

Veneers are thin, custom-made shells crafted from tooth-coloured plastic resin or porcelain and are non-intrusive, safe and effective. Fitting a dental veneer over the front of a discoloured or damaged tooth is a highly effective way to transform its appearance.

Patients whose front teeth are irregular or discoloured will often find this treatment to be particularly suitable to give them the results they are looking for.

As well as masking stained or discoloured teeth, veneers can also be used to correct the appearance of poorly formed or slightly misaligned teeth. They can even be used to restore teeth which are badly chipped or partially broken down.

Fitting Your Veneers

We will begin by preparing the teeth to be treated, making sure there is room for the veneers to be bonded onto their surfaces. Veneers are then firmly bonded in place using a tooth-coloured resin cement.

Making Sure Your Teeth Look Natural

If cosmetic dentistry does not appear natural, it cannot have fulfilled its purpose. We will always take great care to match the shade of your veneers to the rest of your teeth, making sure that the treated tooth looks as natural as possible.

As a regional Centre of Dental Excellence, The Parkway is completely committed to offering our patients only treatments which have been proven to be risk-free and reliable.

Extensive research and clinical studies indicate that veneers are a safe procedure. You can trust our dentists to help achieve the smile you’re looking for in complete safety.
