Fillings

Tooth Coloured "White Fillings"

A tried and tested general dentistry treatment, fillings prolong the lives of teeth and often prevent more intrusive or complicated treatments. The functionality of fillings is not in doubt, but now many people understandably demand more aesthetically pleasing dental treatments for a more natural-looking smile.

White fillings – perhaps more accurately described as ‘tooth-coloured’– are made from a composite material which can be closely matched to the colour of your teeth. Many people find that white fillings help them to talk, laugh and eat with greater confidence, safe in the knowledge that they will not be displaying dark coloured-fillings when they open their mouths.

Here at The Parkway, patients often come for us asking to replace amalgam fillings with this more cosmetically successful option. We will be happy to do this for you, or simply to ensure you can enjoy the aesthetic advantages of white fillings for any future dental work.

Pain-free, fear-free fillings for nervous patients.

At the Parkway we take the concerns of nervous patients – and those who suffer from fear of the dentist –extremely seriously. A filling may be a straightforward form of dental treatment, but the anxiety which it can provoke in many patients is very real. We offer nervous and phobic patients the option of local anaesthesia, sedation dentistry or general anaesthetic for all dental procedures, depending on suitability. This is all part of the gentle, considerate approach which The Parkway is known for.
