Originally from Llanelli, Ellis graduated from the University of Liverpool School of Dentistry in 2017. He completed general practice foundation training in Devon and then subsequently took up further training in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery. Prior to his move back to Wales, he was a specialty doctor and clinical supervisor in urgent dental care at Bristol Dental Hospital.
In 2020, he gained membership to the Royal College of Surgeons (England) Faculty of Dental Surgeons.
Ellis enjoys dermal toxin treatments and is an Invisalign provider. He has an interest in oral surgery and outside of practice, enjoys travelling whenever possible and trying to keep positive with the Scarlets results.
