Dentures at Parkway Clinic: Comfort, Confidence, and Function
Losing teeth can significantly impact your confidence, your ability to chew comfortably, and your overall quality of life. At Parkway Clinic, we specialize in providing custom-fitted dentures that restore your smile, improve your function, and look completely natural.
We offer a range of modern denture solutions, designed with patient comfort and aesthetics as our highest priority, ensuring you can eat, speak, and smile with renewed confidence.

Understanding Dentures
Dentures are removable appliances designed to replace missing teeth and the surrounding gum tissue. They are carefully crafted to mimic the appearance of natural teeth and gums, offering support to your facial structure.
We provide two primary types of dentures:
Complete (Full) Dentures
These are used when all teeth in an arch (either the upper or lower jaw) are missing. Modern full dentures are fabricated to fit precisely over your gums, using natural suction and sometimes adhesive for stability.
2. Partial Dentures
These are used when one or more natural teeth remain in the jaw. A partial denture consists of replacement teeth attached to a gum-coloured base, held in place by clasps or attachments that anchor to your natural teeth.

Advanced Denture Solutions.
Our expertise allows us to offer materials and methods that enhance comfort and stability:
- Acrylic Dentures: A cost-effective and versatile option, made from durable, gum-coloured acrylic resin.
- Metal-Based (Chrome Cobalt) Dentures: Used for partial dentures, these feature a strong, thin metal framework that offers excellent strength, a smaller palate coverage (for upper dentures), and a more secure fit than acrylic alone.
- Flexible Dentures: Constructed from highly flexible, comfortable materials, these are lightweight and virtually undetectable, often chosen for specific partial denture needs.
- Implant-Supported Dentures: For the ultimate stability and retention, dentures can be secured using a few strategically placed dental implants. This option eliminates movement, improves chewing power, and boosts confidence.

The Parkway Difference: Our Patient-Centred Approach
We understand that the process of getting dentures should be collaborative and comfortable.
- Custom Fit and Aesthetics: We take multiple precise measurements and work closely with our dental laboratory to ensure your dentures are the perfect shape, size, and colour to suit your face and look natural.
- Focus on Function: We meticulously check your bite and chewing function to ensure your dentures are comfortable for eating a variety of foods.
- Gentle Care for Anxious Patients: If the multiple fitting appointments are a source of anxiety, our team is highly experienced in supporting anxious patients.

➡️ Severe Phobia or Anxiety? If you have an extreme dental phobia, ask us about the option of having preparatory treatments (like necessary extractions) completed under General Anaesthetic (GA).
